For a little peace and
quiet, nothing in the Hudson Valley can top Boscobel's
Rose Garden. This quiet oasis of beauty and scents
is quietly tucked into a hedged alcove on the west
side of the house. As you arrive at Boscobel you walk
up the brick path through the orchard, arriving at
the Rose Garden.
Take a moment and rest
on one of the iron benches, listen to the babbling
of the fountain, savor the subtle scents of the hundreds
of rose bushes drifting in the air, soak in the sun
and relax. In the early Spring the surrounding apple
trees fill the air with their sweet scent and in late
Fall the ripe apples bouquet the grounds with their
heady fragrance.
Rest in this very special
garden as the world passes you by. |
