Who are we?

The Northeast Livestock Processing Service Company (NELPSC) is a producer-based company born of a grassroots effort by the Hudson Mohawk Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Council to address issues associated with meat processing. The development of the company is being made possible through funding and support from NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets, NYS Senate Majority Leader's office, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, Rensselaer County Economic Development Office, David Rockefeller, Heifer Project International, Columbia County Farm Bureau, and Hudson Mohawk RC&D.

Who do we serve?

Meat Producers of beef, pork, veal, lamb, goat, farm raised venison, and poultry that require processing for direct marketing of their value added meat products as well as for personal use by their friends, family, employees and non-paying guests.

Meat Processors looking to expand their business while increasing their efficiency.

Our services are targeted mainly to the small farmer and processor in New York and surrounding states.

"All the extra care that we put into raising our livestock means nothing if we can't ensure that our livestock is processed to our specifications."
