State Historic Site - While serving as a supply center for the Continental Army, Kingston was burned in 1777. One of the sites burned was the original Senate House building, where the newly formed Convention of Representatives of the State of New York met. The Senate House was rebuilt in 1778 and became the meeting place of first New York State Senate. Museum contains historical exhibits and paintings. Open mid April thru October on Wednesdays thru Saturdays from 10 to 5 and Sundays from 1 to 5. Group tours year round by advanced appointment.

Hours of Operation
Mid-April to October on Wednesdays to Saturdays 10am to 5pm, Sundays 1-5pm. October & November on weekends.
